My Precious: Mocha & Latte & Their Carrot Time

Lama dah tak update pasal my babies kan. *senyum sampai telinga*

So, kali ni nak share pasal dorg yang berkeras tak nak keluar cage eventho dah diumpan dengan carrot. Carrot is actually their favourite. Bagi carrot, benda lain memang tak pandang dah.

Last week, turun KL, so tinggalkan dorg almost 2weeks juga. Sepanjang ditinggalkan, they started to make some noisy sounds (menurut laporan from my sister yang tolong jagakan). Then, when I went back, they saw me from far away, terus jerit jerit and I was -.- what happen to you guys?

Oh ya, kali ni tak letak gambar, tapi letak vidoe. Sila rajinkan diri untuk tengok walaupun tak ada yang bikin korg gelak tergolek golek dalam video tu.

This video, sepatutnya nak ambil dari jauh, untuk rekod bunyi dorg menjerit. Tapi tak kedengaran. Once dah dekat, automatically dorg senyap and just a small chitchat. Sepanjang potongkan dorg carrot, sepanjang tu la dorg bising. Kalau buka fridge pun dorg jadi tak keruan. Nak nak pulak fridge tepi cage dorg je.

Try untuk umpan dorg keluar cage. Sebab nak ajar dorg keluar cage and makan kat luar. Selama ni makan kat dalam je, either they eat by themselves or aku bagi by handfeed. Memang jarang nak bawak dorg keluar unless nak bersihkan cage. And I think that's the reason kenapa dorg sangat penakut. Sigh

Ini pulak, aku yang keluarkan dorg. Harap sendiri nak keluar, memang tak ler. Tutup pintu cage terus sebab dorg akan terus nak masuk balik. Yang ni pun bersungguh sungguh gigit cage sebab nak masuk balik. Adeh. Carrot idaman hati pun tak nak pandang langsung. Bagi by hand pun langsung tak nak. Dah lama lama Mocha baru nak makan, tu pun sikit. Latte langsung tak nak, kalau gigit pun, gigit sikit pastu sambung balik gigit gigit cage.

Aku sebenarnya in plan nak ajar dorg dengar cakap. But I guess it really really takes time and effort. Doakan je la berjaya train dorg. Wink!

Latte's eye drop for her allergic

First week with Latte, I realized something wrong with her eye, the right side. It's bengkak. I was so worried that I thought "Is it because I used camera flash on her?". If it is so, I would regret it deeeeeeeeeepest-ly~!

After almost 2 weeks only I can brought her to vet. All of us were busy with the final paper, and at the same time, my car had some problem so I couldn't go by myself. 

Latte's doctor was handsome!

Once the doctor called out her name, he said "What a nice name". I smiled till it reached my ears. Ha ha. Latte was a good girl that time, the doctor hold her firmly. Latte never behave such a good girl if I hold her :(

I observed the doctor really really close, so I can hold Latte like him. But I guess I'm not good yet. 

Doctor said, Latte had allergic with the bedding, the dust had got into her eye. And he suggested me to change it. Most guinea pig had the same problem. My poor baby.

He gave Latte eye drops. One drop 3 times per day within 2 weeks. Well, I'm still far away being a good mama, and I don't even decipline myself to take medicine on time. So, I always forgot to give Latte her eye drops. Sorry dear baby :( But yet, she was really good to avoid me dropping her medicine. 

Her doctor gave me a list of vege a guinea pig can have. And gave some advice on handling guinea pig especially her diet. Then he weight her. She was 200g only. :D I was excited~! Wahhhhhh, my baby was 200g. :D

Since I cant go back straight away after submitting our thesis, me and Latte were left alone at the college. Kinda lonely when everyone gone back and you didn't have anyone to talk to. So, I had my dinner in front of my baby, talked with her once a while. I guess she was hungry seeing me eating by myself. Then, we're having our dinner together~!

After 2 weeks, Latte was definitely had her eye recovered. Her pretty eyes~! :D And I never have to struggle with her anymore just to drop the medicine. Phewww~

Sleeping soundly

Around 1 week after Latte came, I bought this one medium size exercise ball. I thought, "Hurm, Latte must like playing with this". But, but, but, once I put her inside, she stayed still, didn't even make a single move. =.="

Then, I decided. Latte didn't want to play. Some time later, i figured out, guinea pig really don't play much.

No wonder. Pffft!

It would be a waste if I put the ball aside. So, I just put it inside her cage. Then, I saw her get herself into the ball and lay down. Wah~! I was kinda excited to see. Ha ha.

The next day, she started to fall asleep inside the ball. The first time I saw it was when we're doing our study group at the living room. I kept my eyes on her all night long, she's my precious afterall :D and that was when I saw her fall asleep so cutely!. The above photo, I took it on the spot, her first photo sleeping inside.

Few first days she started to sleep there, she still being aware us getting nearer. Only later than that, she started to ignore us-.- SHE'S CUTE~!! And I'm dead seeing her cute side~!!!

This was the time I took out the ball and her from the cage. I want her to have her floor time, but apparently she prefer to stay inside that =.=

Latte still being aware with any movement while she's asleep, so took the photo kinda far away.

When I was taking this photo, I really really need to be extra careful not to wake her up. Since guinea pig is the type of prey animal, their sense is really strong. 

I think this was the moment I realized when she sleep, she had the tendency to throw out her feet. And this is the starting she became ignorant toward us. She must had the thought, "Ah, lantak korg la nak tengok aku tidur. Aku mengantuk dah ni, ikut suka korg la nak buat apa dekat dekat dengan aku". 

Cait~!

Latte seriously seriously and seriously like her ball. I used to take out the ball just to clean it up, but she crazily walking around to look for her ball. When I put the ball in front her gate, she realized and quickly reaching out her hand to the ball. She missed her ball rather than me T.T

My Babies : Mocha & Latte

Tanggal 9/6/2012, a new cutie had become part of my life. Then on 14/7/2012,  another cutie came, and both become my precious.

Since before, I always thought of naming Latte & Mocha as me pet. On those dates, finally, I managed to~! :D

Ini pula gambar Latte & Mocha 1st to be together. 

1st day Mocha became a part of me and Latte was actually Fatin's birthday. So, directly from MidValley, we rush to Balakong, jemput Fatin dan culik bawa pergi Putrajaya. The photo was taken at Putrajaya. At first, nak hantar Latte&Mocha balik rumah dulu tapi disebabkan tak sempat, bawa la sekali jumpa Fatin. Yang atas dekat dengan botol air adalah Mocha, bawah adalah Latte.

*Sorry, tak ada lagi gambar Mocha alone. Sekarang pun both of them still at the quarantine centre. :(

Really feel like a forever alone when they arent here with me. Haha
